Assistant Project Manager (APM)
Secure Construct are seeking to appoint an Assistant Project Manager (APM) who will be part of the Project Management Team (PM) supporting the delivery of our projects internally and externally. Supporting the reporting, procurement, project progress and performance of our projects. You will be assisting our Project & Construction Managers with quality control, coordination, procurement, benchmarks and project liaison.
You have a degree qualification in construction management, civil engineering, architecture, commercial management or are willing to attend day release college in order to achieve this. You will be working towards or willing to achieve membership with a relevant institution (e.g. CIOB or ICE). You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships want to be part of a strong, motivated team. You have to be hungry, wanting to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Secure Construct have to offer.
Some overseas travel will be required to enable project delivery, need and frequency. Duration will be determined by the role holder and projects secured, but as a guide we expect that around 20 days a year shall be spent traveling.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
General
· Managing and assisting in the delivery of a variety of construction related projects from inception to completion.
· Preparation of feasibility reports, specifications, client briefs and tender documents
· Attending project meetings, preparing progress reports and managing third party consultants and contractor teams.
· Supporting the procurement and logistics of our projects.
Additional Responsibilities
· Undertake other tasks as reasonably requested by your Line Manager
