Are you a project planner with experience in the manufacturing of steelwork fabrications, pipework and MEP service modules? Then how does the role of project planner at the UK's foremost prefabricator of modular building services, providing nationwide capability sound to you?
As the UK's leading MEP solution provider, Crown House Technologies (CHt) has a wealth of experience in delivering complex and high interface projects. Crown House Manufacturing (CHtM) pioneered the use of offsite manufacturing for mechanical, electrical and public health services over 25 years ago, and since then has helped to deliver some of the UK's most iconic buildings.
This is a really exciting time to join us as we are currently experiencing huge growth and expansion so we would now like to add an experienced project planner to the team. Your office will be our state of the art 12,000m² facility based in Oldbury, near Birmingham, here you will plan and monitor project modulogs, programmes and production capacity in terms of labour, space required and overtime.
What will the role look like?
- Receive, interpret and understand modulogs and programmes issued by CHt DfMA team.
- Produce weekly gantt charts using Asta PowerProject for submission to CHt on-site project teams.
- Attend daily operations meetings and provide prompts and feedback to engineering and estimating teams on progress vs plan, making interventions as necessary.
- Produce weekly production plan to show works required to be carried out, completion dates, required resources to achieve, highlighting areas of under or over resource.
- Produce weekly BPR dashboards for review by the management team,and submit to schedule.
- Attend project review meetings with project teams to provide feedback on progress and advise production lead-times and current workload.
- Produce budgets and plans for accelerated works, reviewing acceleration feasibility with production team.
- Key liaison for production and engineering teams.
- Deputise for project co-ordinator, lead project co-ordinator as required with project teams and/or internal teams.
- Utilise, review and interpret data from the SAP system to underpin all planning activity.
- Monitor and have an awareness of floor space requirements and storage/production space required.
What skills and experience are we looking for?
- SAP or equivalent systems trained.
- Asta powerproject trained.
- Production resource planning experience.
