Our Assistant Producers are highly supportive and organised individuals who provide an exceptional and seamless level of service between Picture Shop’s Production Staff, Operators and clients. Excellent communication skills are key when working with colleagues and external partners at all levels. The ability to organise and prioritise the needs of the wider team whilst working in a deadline driven environment is essential to making this role a success, as is having a flexible attitude when coordinating multiple projects with conflicting deadlines.
What we need you to do!
You will be working closely with Production and Operations as the Bristol Hub manages all incoming media from start to finish for Picture Shop. From the initial workflow meeting, through to the organisation of copies, ingesting, grouping & syncing and client exports, the Hub is integral in the scheduling and managing of resources across all genres. You’ll directly support our post producers with running of full post on specific projects, assigned by the General Manager. You will also handle internal smaller scale projects such as showreels and awards submissions.
What Experience we’re looking for!
- Managing all bookings of copies, ingests, grouping and syncing and exports.
- Taking schedules sent by production and forward planning, managing resources and flagging when extra resources are required.
- Liaising with Post Producers and Ops trouble shooting any issues or problems
- Generating reports when needed for total hours of ingesting per project.
- Attending workflow meetings with operations and post producers about upcoming jobs
- Assist Production staff working within the facility, including booking freelancers as necessary.
- Helping production hire extra kit when needs be and organising its distribution around the building
- Help Library with management and logging of drives.
- Sign off creatives daily and check bookings for the following day.
