Part of this team is the Hedging Advisory and Derivative Execution team, which provides expertise on financial risks (FX, Interest Rate, Commodity and Inflation). We help clients quantify their financial risks, define appropriate risk management priorities and objectives, structure suitable hedging strategies, and optimise the derivatives execution process to achieve efficiency and savings.
We encourage consideration of flexible ways of working, both formal and informal arrangements that allow for the best outcomes for our people and our clients. If this opportunity is of interest to you with some flexibility, please do discuss with us.

- Helping companies assess their risk exposures, from gathering data and understanding the nature of the exposures (e.g. transactional vs. translational risk, cashflow vs. balance sheet vs. net investment risk), to quantifying risk via sensitivity analyses (Value-at-Risk), and assisting with the implementation of hedging programmes.
- Being involved with business development activities, including identifying opportunities and preparing pitches to clients.
- Taking ownership of new client onboarding processes and managing internal controls and compliance.

To be considered, you will ideally possess some or all of the following attributes as an Assistant Manager:

- Project delivery experience by helping businesses assess risk (such as Value-at-Risk) and establishing risk management processes and policies.
- Experience and knowledge of derivatives pricing, structuring and execution (FX, IR, Commodities and/or Inflation) is a bonus, but not essential.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to interact successfully with clients and other professionals across the firm.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail with a natural desire and ability to ask probing questions and get to the bottom of challenges.
- Ability to write structured reports that explain complex matters in a logical and easy to understand manner to non-Treasury professionals.
- Open mindset to do a wide range of work as required to help a growing and busy team expand.
- Desire to work in an advisory environment, grow a business and build a career in professional services.
- Above all though, we want your enthusiasm, energy and imagination to contribute to the team and what it can achieve.
