Due to continued success St Barts Finance are excited to announce the opening a new Yorkshire Building Society Agency in Salisbury city centre. We are looking for an Assistant Agency Manager to join our new Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and inspiring individual to support and lead the agency alongside the Agency Manager.
This role is permanent 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday + every other Saturday (9am – 12pm). Time off in lieu will be given for any Saturdays worked.
Although this position is based in Salisbury, there may be times when, if required, you will be asked to travel to another agency location to provide resource support/training.
What you will experience:
We are a busy agency and we need someone who can be adaptable to lead a team to success, as well as prioritise our customers and their needs. You will work closely with the agency manager and be responsible for deputising in the managers absence, covering all aspects of their role. You will demonstrate commercial awareness and prioritise growing the business, whilst supporting your team and servicing customers. Through great rapport, you will get to know our customers and will present them a variety of services that suit their needs and will help make their money work harder.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- You'll be the ‘go-to’ person for colleague queries and guidance.
- Become an expert in the products & services YBS/St Barts Finance offer.
- Be a new starter ‘buddy’ for colleagues joining the company.
- You will motivate & inspire others, leading by example at all times.
- Complete Risk and Health & Safety checks by specific deadlines.
- You will run agency campaigns to increase engagement and build commercial awareness
- You will have great organisation skills and manage team diaries – organise Saturday rotas, lieu time and events.
- You will observe Savings Meetings within your team and provide encouraging and constructive coaching feedback.
- You'll demonstrate a growth mindset and show enthusiasm to develop in your role.
- You’ll be commercially aware - keeping up to date with market changes, our competitors and customer trends.
Salary: £22,000 - £25,000 (+ commission)
We conduct regular pay reviews and aim to pay our Assistant Managers £25,000 within 12 months.
