Full Time Assistant Manager
Up to £28,000 per year (Depending on experience) + Tips
We are looking for a passionate and driven Assistant manager. We have a great reputation for quality fresh cooked food and fantastic service and are now looking for the right person to take the pub to even greater heights.
You will need to be hands on running our restaurant, working directly with service staff and management to deliver a great experience for our guests.
You will lead all aspects of Front of House, motivate staff, and provide excellent customer service.
Ensuring efficient pub operations as well as maintaining, quality, and customer service standards.
You must lead by example and uplift the front of house staff during busy periods in the fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will ensure the pub runs smoothly and customers have the best experience possible.
Responsibilities –
· Have a solid restaurant and Bar background, working within high level establishments.
· Be a hands-on Manager committed to providing an excellent level of customer service.
· Coordinate daily front of house operations.
· Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
· Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
· Organize and supervise shifts and provide feedback to improve productivity.
· Ensure compliance with licensing, hygiene, health and safety regulations.
· Train new and current employees on customer service practices, this includes taking charge of our CPL online staff training platform.
· Taking reservations in line with company policy’s
· Management of the cellar to include beer lines cleaned, changing of barrels and gas, general cellar maintenance.
· Working with management to develop wine and drinks offering for our guests.
· Working with suppliers to develop our Gin of the Moment offering including costings and promotions.
· Bar area and service fridges is kept clean, stocked, and organized.
· Supervisory and responsibility for the operation and accuracy of the tills, including authorizing refunds, till floats and end of night cashing up.
· You will be a key holder and responsible for closing down and locking up the building.
· Ensuring that notices, menus, and promotional Tv’s are up to date and properly displayed.
· Organising monthly Crockery and Glass wear counts.
· To ensure awareness of the needs of people with special dietary requirements following company Allergens procedures
· Communicate with Kitchen, especially during busy periods to ensure restaurant is managed to a high standard.
