Therefore it’s quite a multidimensional service standard, which creates a fun and challenging environment.
We ask our Assistant Managers to know as much about our business as the General Managers do. After all, they take on the responsibility for the teams and are accountable for the business in the GM’s absence.
This is how we train, and when the opportunity comes up for that captains seat, we’ve provided you with all the tools to make it work.
Absolutely, we are hands on at DOUGH&co. Its all about people and standards, so responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Acting as a role model for all employees by continuously exhibiting a high level of service and attention to detail in all tasks
- Play a prominent role in recruiting and training the team
- Supervising employees and providing additional training and coaching as needed to ensure everyone is performing to their best in a fun and enjoyable environment
- Motivating the team, its what our managers do!
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Handling customer complaints and resolving issues if we haven’t got it quite right
Assistant Manager Experience:
It will be in a fast-paced environment at peak times and as such we are looking for a manager who has energy and experience within the restaurant industry, who can talk passionately about how they manage and lead teams.
