Job description
Background
At Moorhouse, you can really make a difference!
As we continue to grow as a firm, our principles and values remain at the forefront of everything we do. All our clients are FTSE 100 / 250 companies or major government departments, and we work with them on their most complex, high-profile transformation programmes.
Our people are some of the best management consultants you will have the opportunity to work with. What stands them apart is the genuine realisation that we can all excel, grow and develop our careers in Moorhouse together. Our relentless focus on maintaining a high-quality bar when it comes to recruitment has been instrumental in differentiating us from our clients and is key to our continued growth and success as a firm.
Over the next five years, our strategy is to double in size from our current headcount of c.200 consultants; you will have the opportunity to work with an experienced and committed team and play a key role in shaping the future of the business.
We recognise that you need to choose us, just as much as we need to want you. Whilst we are excited by the opportunity to recruit a new member of the Business Support team to play such an instrumental role in supporting the business, we need someone equally excited by this opportunity.

- Comprehensive diary management for multiple Partners including scheduling meetings, appointments, speaking engagements, and travel. Exercise discretion in committing time and evaluating needs, maintaining the confidentiality of highly sensitive information. Manage responses and take ownership of diary and rearrange meetings as necessary.
- Preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes and tracking actions for meetings
- Determine priority of matters of attention to Partners and Directors; redirect matters to staff to handle, or handle matters personally, as appropriate.
- Keep the Partners and Directors advised of time-sensitive and priority issues, ensuring appropriate follow-up.
- Arranging meetings, managing the online room booking system, booking venues, preparing video-conference equipment, and organising catering for events.
- Liaising with clients & their PAs to arrange meetings and events.
- Prepare, reconcile, and submit expenses.
- Submit timesheets for Partners and ensure they meet chargeable time requirements.
- Support organising internal events and assisting with onsite events.
- Maintaining a strong working relationship with other Business Support Teams.
- Working closely with the other PAs and office team to ensure a smooth running of the office and provide cover when other PAs are on leave using independent judgement and initiative.

- Play a key role in the coordination of team efforts both within and outside the department.
- Handle printing, copying, filing, and email/messages.
- General ad-hoc office duties such as the occasional ordering of office supplies.
