Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Full Time Assistant Maintenance Manager on to the team.

As Assistant Maintenance Manager, you will be required to:

  • Supervise the daily operation of the maintenance team.
  • Liaise with the hotel’s operational departments to ensure all guest needs and operational functions are prioritised.
  • Ensure necessary inspections of lifts, boilers etc are carried out and records maintained.
  • Ensure regular testing and management of the hotel’s safety systems.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies.
  • Conduct the recruitment, training and management of maintenance personnel and assist in the training of all staff
  • Work in line with Maintenance Manager, giving frequent updates when necessary

The successful candidate must have trade qualification and experience in plumbing, electrical or general building maintenance. Previous management experience within a maintenance function in a medium to large hotel or similar is desirable. You will have effective interpersonal, organisational and people management skills.
