We are looking to appoint two Nursery Nurse Apprentices to join our friendly New Beginnings Nursery based in Loughton, Essex.
You will be trained to work as a member of our award winning nursery team to ensure that all children attending the setting receive high quality care, are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences which meet their individual needs. With this in mind, we require excellent staff who can support with the care and development of our children whilst maintaining high standards.

You will work towards a nationally recognised child care qualification as part of the government apprenticeship programme.
Duties to include:
- Understand and respect the need for continuous care for children
- To assist in providing a safe, supportive and caring environment for young children in the care of the nursery
- To ensure that clean and hygienic standards are maintained at all times. This includes completing daily cleaning rota’s, nappy changing and other nursery/housekeeping duties.
- To maintain and follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.
- To maintain and follow Safeguarding policies and procedures at all times
- To be involved in developing and delivering, a stimulating and creative atmosphere within the group.
- To attend all mandatory training sessions and workshops as advised by your manager.
- You will be required to report for duty on time, maintain regular attendance, give appropriate notice of holiday requests and report nonattendance through sickness promptly and appropriately.

We will help you gain a Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification through an Apprenticeship where you will work 40 hours per week.
Candidates currently holding a level 2 Qualification will be considered for Early Years Educator Level 3 Qualification.
