We are currently looking for an Assistant Lecturers to join our School of Health & Care Management to support with our distance learning and blended learning Foundation Year programmes.
The Assistant Lecturer post provides an opportunity for an early career academic to gain experience and skills in learning, teaching and assessment practice in a Higher Education context. Under the supervision of experienced academics, you will contribute to teaching at different levels starting on distance learning and then moving to blended learning (full-time), provide academic support to individuals and groups, contribute to assessment, and undertake administrative activities to support teaching and learning activities.
About You:
- An honours degree in an appropriate subject area (business, computing, social sciences)
- Some teaching or coaching experience and have/or willing to attain Advance HE Fellowship
- The ability to effectively communicate scaffolded material, as well as contribute to programme enhancement;
- Excellent breadth and depth of Business, Computing and/or Social Sciences
- Confident in the use of e-learning technologies and the use of all Microsoft 365 tools and applications
