Assistant Finance Manager, Dial Partners LLP
The Role
To Manage the finance of the company, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis as well as the HR function. This role is for someone with an accounting/ financial qualification and background who would like to step up to a Assistant Manager role. You will be reporting to the Finance Manager.
Dial Partners is an independent corporate finance boutique and strategic advisory firm, founded in
2009. We have a core team of approximately 10 people in the Mayfair office. We are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
Core Hours will be Monday to Friday 9- 6 PM; there will be times when the individual be required to work beyond these hours. The role is based in Mayfair, London, some flexible working can also be accommodated

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Financial reporting, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of ledgers
- Preparation for quarterly Board Meetings
- Statutory compliance reporting to FCA via Gabriel and Connect
- Preparation of annual budgets, cash flow forecasts and medium-term projections
- Preparation of annual accounts (audited by external accountants)
- Managing accounts payable and receivable functions, making all payments to suppliers, payroll etc
- Preparation and Submission of quarterly VAT Returns
- HR Function, recruiting staff, dealing with staff departures and maintaining HR records in line with government legislation. Making payroll payments and managing pension records.
(payroll and pension is managed and run by a third party)
- Dealing with all third party supplier relationships, managing contracts etc (Office
Management)
- Procurement of IT and other office equipment and coordinating IT help desk function
Education and Experience
- CIMA or ACA / ACCA qualified or part qualified with post qualified experience in managing company accounts and financial reporting functions
- Able to work in a high-pressure and fast-moving environment effectively
- Experience of budgeting, reporting and finance operations
- Strong systems experience with financial reporting software including Sage.
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

- Confidentiality and discretion are required at all times
- Gravitas to work with senior individuals, both internal and external
- Flexible, adaptable, can-do attitude is a must.
