We are seeking to appoint an Assistant Finance Business Partner who will provide integral support to the Finance Business Partnering team to enable effective Business Partnering and advisory service across the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority to aid continuous improvement and performance.
You will play a vital role in the management of AEB (Adult Education Budget) and Multiply (Adult Numeracy Skills Funding) devolved budgets, supporting the production of forecasting, budgeting, and playing an active role in forward planning.
As an Assistant Finance Business Partner, you will be organised and structured, adept at learning quickly how to operate financial systems, including the training of other users, and to identify ways in which those systems can be utilised more efficiently to support the delivery of business objectives.
As you will work closely with numerous stakeholders you will need good communication, interpersonal and team working skills, along with the ability to manage and meet deadlines.
