As an Assistant Dog Groomer, you will work closely with our professional groomers to uphold our reputation for excellence, providing luxurious grooming services and ensuring the overall well-being and comfort of our canine clients. Responsibilities:
Assist the senior dog groomers in performing grooming services, including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling dogs according to breed standards and client preferences.
Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for dogs during grooming procedures, maintaining the high standards that have earned us our accolades.
Handle dogs with care, maintaining a calm and soothing demeanor, and using appropriate handling techniques to ensure their safety and well-being.
Assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of grooming tools, equipment, and the salon facility, upholding the standards that have contributed to our recognition as a top-rated grooming salon.
Maintain accurate records of grooming services provided, including client preferences and any special instructions, ensuring consistent and personalized care for each client.
Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering supplies as needed, helping us uphold our commitment to excellence in all aspects of our operations.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, discussing grooming recommendations, and ensuring client satisfaction, further contributing to our reputation as the Best Dog Groomers in Rochdale.
Stay updated with the latest grooming trends, techniques, and industry standards through continuous learning and professional development, ensuring that our services remain at the forefront of the industry.
Occasionally assist in reception duties, such as answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining client records, ensuring smooth salon operations.
Collaborate with the team to create a positive and harmonious work environment, fostering teamwork and a shared commitment to excellence.
Hours: Full or Part Time
Salary: to be discussed depending on experience, with regular appraisals and increases as training is completed
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16-40 per week
Salary: £6.70-£15.00 per hour
