Assistant Directors – National Engagement Service

The National Engagement Service has two exciting opportunities to join us as Assistant Directors of Engagement.

These roles provide the opportunity to work at national level in a supportive and friendly organisation that offers you a great opportunity to connect with influential leaders, gain greater political insight and build on your own professional development every day.

These roles would utilise, HR, OD and engagement skills in a role that works closely with senior workforce leaders and Trade Union professionals

About you

We are seeking x2 credible and experienced workforce/OD leader’s who are highly effective in building purposeful relationships, working collaboratively and leading people.

The Assistant Directors will

  • use their skills and experience in advocacy, influencing and negotiation to represent employers’ views, underpinned by evidence and impact, to shape national policy and promote good practice.
  • lead input into the design and delivery of professional networks to support employers
  • seek insight to inform our work in critical areas such as workforce supply, employment practice and improving staff experience.

A commitment and experience of working in true partnership with trade unions is also required given our leading role in regional social partnership forums.
