ASSISTANT CLERK
Salary: £38,296- £42,503 (scp 32 to 36)
West Bletchley Council is seeking to recruit an Assistant Clerk to support the Clerk in carrying out all aspects of the Council’s administration.
Serving a local population of over 23,000 residents, with an annual budget of over £1 million, the Council provides a range of facilities and services and is committed to working with partners and the local community to improve quality of life within the parish. The Council considers itself to be a leading local council with Quality Gold Status and the General Power of Competence.
Applicants will need to be able to manage wide ranging and conflicting priorities and be prepared to obtain the CILCA qualification within 24 months of appointment.
The successful applicant will have a high level of IT proficiency and knowledge of IT systems along with excellent project management and communication skills.
The postholder will be required to undertake regular evening and some weekend working.
