Shearer Associates are delighted to be partnering exclusively with this expanding Manufacturing business who are growing thier finance team with the addition of a Senior Accounts Assistant . Working closely alongside the Finance Manager , your duties will include :
- Purchase Ledger – posting Invoices/matching to POs/supplier statement reconciliations
- Preparation of monthly supplier payment runs
- Assist in the management of company credit cards and expenses
- Raise sales ledger credit notes
- Credit control, ensuring aged debt is kept to a minimum, dealing with customer queries
- Bank reconciliations and postings
- Respond to any ad hoc departmental requests
- Manage email inbox and folders
- Attend meetings both online and in person, as required
- Maintain good relationships with all departments within the business
- Support other Team members and Managers with workload, month end duties and reporting requirements
This role will suit an experienced Accounts Assistant in either purchase ledger or sales ledger, looking for a more varied role .
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £26,000.00-£29,000.00 per year
