Role Profile – Delivery Driver
Purpose:
Delivering car parts to bodyshops, garages and residential customers all across the Midlands. Responsible for loading and route planning, ensuring the most efficient route is always used. Safe transportation of parts to customers, excellent verbal communication with the use of smart phone technology for proof of delivery images. You Must be able to follow verbal instruction and strict delivery processes, as well as being confident communicating via email.
Location: Rugby Site
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Your duties will be to deliver car parts/panels to our customers with a 3.5 Ton van.
- Provide an exceptional level of service to customers befitting of our company values.
- Accurately complete paperwork daily
- Communication with our Logistics/distribution centre departments
- 48 hour working week on average
Experience & Essential Qualities
- Category B Driving licence.
- Experience driving a 3.5-ton vehicle is essential.
- Experience in the handing of fragile goods is highly desirable but not essential.
- Thorough understanding of driving regulations.
- Strong level of literacy and numeracy is required.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Able to use a smart phone/tablet.
- Computer literate
Remuneration
Salary: £28,008pa and £1,560pa performance bonus
Working Hours: 48 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday to Friday
