Job description
Estimated Salary Range between £27,000 and £32,000 per annum
- Production of timely and accurate statistical and financial information
- When appropriate deputise for Finance Manager.
- Timely completion of required reports, audits, and reconciliations
- Provide information or support to hospital departments, managers, and staff as and when required.
- Liaise with Central Finance Function on matters such as fixed asset registers, purchase ledger and payroll where required.
- Provide support to the sales ledger function when required.
- Work within Ramsay financial policies and procedures
- Responsible for maintaining all documentation and records that are required for audit purposes or as specified by Inland Revenue policies.
- Identify and communicate issues impacting on the efficient completion of financial processes.
Technical Skills & Application
- AAT qualified to level 4 and ideally wanting to continue to complete professional accountancy qualification.
- A good understanding of accounting processes and procedures, including double entry bookkeeping.
- Intermediate Excels skills to include pivot tables, basic formulas, and V-Lookups
- Confident in using Microsoft Office and computerised accounting software.
- Proven ability to work to deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business.
- Able to work under pressure and meet monthly deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated Customer Service skills.
