Role Overview
As an Assistant Accountant, you will work very closely with the Finance Manager and finance team to play a key role in supporting elements of the finance function as Caledonian Leisure Ltd continue our growth.
Location and Hours
This role is in the Wigan office and is a full time, Mon-Fri role. The role offers flexible working hours as long as the core company hours are covered, and there is a hybrid working pattern which includes some time working from home if preferred.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
As our Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting our Finance Manager, and wider team with their daily tasks, including:
· Preparation and submission of our weekly revenue claims, including all supporting evidence and full reconciliation of our Trust Account.
· Daily bank reconciliations for our current accounts, top up cards and expense cards.
· Assisting the Purchase Ledger team with processing of invoices as and when required.
· Back-up credit control and agency invoicing.
· Full month-end support including accruals, prepayments.
· Any other ad-hoc accounts work when required
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
As a successful candidate, you should be able to demonstrate:
· Confident use of Microsoft Excel
· An eye for detail
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· The ability to work as part of a team, but also independently

Salary: £25,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
