Job Title: Assistant Accountant
Role Type: 60 Weeks FTC, Full-Time or Part-Time (30 hours per week minimum)

Compensation: £33,784 - £39,663

The role
As an Assistant Accountant, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Playing a significant role in the current finance transformation project and in providing good quality and accurate ad hoc analytical support to the finance leadership team.
Day to day you'll:
- Assist with month-end reporting processes, adhering to Group and Sector standards and timescales
- Liaising with external auditors
- Play an active role in supporting the finance transformation agenda
- Contribution to finance and site-wide continuous improvement projects
- Support to ad hoc reporting and analysis requirements
Essential experience of the Assistant Accountant
Must have:
- Basic understanding of accounting concepts
Advantageous:
- Experience of IFS/SAP or BPC
This role is a hybrid role with at least 1 day per week in the office at Rosyth
The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance level for this role.
