About the Team
We are London’s leading Corporate Reputation team. We create commercial value by delivering campaigns and advisory work for companies and brands that operate in the full glare of the public spotlight and whose reputations shape their businesses.
We have deep industry expertise and advise on integrated media strategy, digital and content production, crisis planning & response, litigation & legal affairs, employee engagement & advocacy, research & analytics, capital markets and government affairs.
The team includes more than 75 consultants specialising in all areas of corporate reputation and includes former journalists, senior in-house practitioners, government advisors and industry specialists as well as dedicated sector experts.

The role
This is a junior account service position within our Corporate team. The successful candidate will possess exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in order to work effectively with a variety of people of all levels. You must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments and multiple deadlines. Excellent attention to detail, a passion for the news, media and communications, and enthusiasm for delivering great results for clients are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Media monitoring (depending on client needs, sometimes reports need to be sent by 8.30am)
    • General account service administration – organising weekly client calls, managing the work in progress report, booking meeting rooms and team diary management)
    • Compiling media coverage reports for clients post campaigns
    • Research for client programmes and new business opportunities
    • Media relations: identifying appropriate journalists to target with stories, ‘selling in’ (calling journalists and articulating your clients’ stories), coming up with ideas for new story angles, monitoring for coverage
    • Social media engagement: preparing and scheduling daily social media posts for clients in accordance with their aims and campaigns, monitoring for traction of client initiatives across social media.
    • Organising and attending events with support from senior staff
    • Identifying appropriate speaking platforms for clients
    • Writing, editing and proofreading materials including press releases, blog posts, proposals, and client correspondence
    • Reporting and account handling

The ideal candidate for this role will have/be:

    • Desire to work as part of a team in a busy, fast paced and highly motivated working environment - an interest in PR is essential
    • Ability to multi-task and work in a matrix structure
    • Ability to work calmly, accurately, and efficiently under multiple deadlines, often with short lead-times
    • Enthusiasm and energy for communications and delivering great client work
    • Committed to excellence with a real passion for media and current affairs
    • Proven interest in and use of social media platforms
    • Ability to conduct accurate, detailed research and analysis across digital and social media
    • Experience using Microsoft packages such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word
    • Good communication skills, both written and verbal; able to articulate point of view
    • Exceptional attention to detail, tenacity, and organisation and planning skills
    • Curiosity – constantly seeking out new places for client opportunities and making the effort to learn more about clients, sectors and industries. Equally demonstrating an interest in life outside work with a curiosity to learn
    • Previous experience in a PR role an advantage
    • Use initiative to get tasks done and work independently, but know when to ask for help
    • Entrepreneurial spirit - willingness to ‘get stuck in’ and make the most of opportunities
