Important fitness The Job About the role My client is one of the UK's largest and most reputable training providers, they are looking to recruit an experienced sports coach to join their training division as an Active Leisure Trainer/Assessor. Using your experience within sports coach and Leisure, you will train and support learners to gain skills and confidence while gaining their qualification. Main duties: Coaching all learners through their qualification, adhering to the standards of the apprenticeship programme to ensure consistency and fairness throughout all assessment delivery techniques. Providing a balance of group tutoring centrally each week and then support each learner in the field via performance assessments and personal mentoring and support. Undertaking specific training prior to the apprenticeship launch date to be able to provide the course delivery and programme support required to ensure the consistency and quality required. What will you bring to the role? As well as recent experience gained at Manager level in the health and fitness sector, you'll also have: Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instruction Level 3 Certificate or Diploma in Personal Training Level 3 Nutrition - desirable Recent professional experience working as a General/Fitness Manager within the Health & Fitness sector GCSEs English and Maths (C or above or key skills equivalent) What is in it for you?
