Main duties of the job
- To manage the sourcing of accommodation including for internationally recruited groups of staff. To manage the accommodation allocation and act as lead accommodation contact with agency, nursing directorate and workforce.
- Responsible for line management of an Accommodation Officer including significant input in all areas of HR issues, including recruitment and selection, managing leave and absence, dealing with capability and disciplinary processes as required.
- Manage trust hotel requests, issues and financial management including managing contracts with hotel providers.
- To understand and manage additional accommodation requests and additional demand in emergency situations
- To lead and promote the development of professional relationships with external and internal bodies as appropriate.
- To manage, track and report on a complex range of tasks including escalated housing management, finance, staff management, the upkeep of residences and welfare of residents.
- To manage and ensure the issue and compliance of any tenancy or housing legislative documents issued to residents and visitors.
- Liaise with external providers in relation to nominations and supply of accommodation and provide marketing assistance including benchmarking private rented sector in areas local to Trust hospitals.

- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
