Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Asset Manager III to join our team in the following locations: National Capitol Region to include Washington DC, Virginia, and Maryland; Tucson, AZ; and Selfridge Air National Guard Base, MI. Our team supports a government acquisition organization comprised of a multi-disciplinary, integrated team of Government and contractor personnel executing multiple, complex national border security projects. Through systems acquisition and fielding activities, projects we support impact leadership decision making regarding operational mission resource allocations, appropriate border security responses, and successful implementation of national border security priorities.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provides site-specific property management support as vendors deliver to new sites, tracking equipment onsite, accepting site when complete, conducting inventory, and populating the asset management tracking system.
- Schedule and conduct annual inventory audits, as well as provide system deployment and maintenance services for PMOD mission-critical systems including deployment planning, technical expertise, coordinating field deployment activities with Federal, state, and local agencies, and overseeing deployment execution for mission-critical PMOD systems.
- Manage the sector’s property program including acquisition, receiving, transferring, excessing, reutilization, repairing, disposal, and retiring of various types of property, and monitor equipment status, determine maintenance requirements, and recommend maintenance priorities, while providing a full range of supervisory functions for a staff who provides a diverse range of mission-support services.
- Prepare inventory status reports for leadership and other ad-hoc reports.
Basic Qualifications:
- A master’s degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Management Sciences, or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years of related work experience
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of Federal acquisition logistics practices and acquisition logistics management standard requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Project, and/or SharePoint.
- DAWIA Level II or III Logistics (or equivalent training and experience).
- Experience with Integrated Logistics Support System (ILSS IBM MAXIMO) and System Application and Product (SAP).
Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Customs and Border Protection Public Trust suitability determination.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time
- Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer
- The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
