Description Abacus Employment Services have a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company near Salisbury. We are looking for Assembly Workers. Working hours will be working 08.00am to 16:30pm Monday – Thursday and 08:00am-15:30pm Friday Free parking is available. As an Assembly Worker you will be working in a small friendly team to assemble Mechanical and Electrical components using a wide range of tools. Your key responsibilities will include: Use a variety of hand and power tools to wire, solder, crimp, cut and assemble components Pick items as per the works instruction Build items to manufacturing procedures, advising of any differences Test items to relevant production test procedures and update test record Follow work instructions in accordance with quality control procedures Complete build time and post manufacture check sheets Ensure all machinery and equipment is used is left in a safe & clean condition Work alone and as part of a team building large/complex orders Attend team meetings as required Paying between £10.50 and £11.00 per hour depending on experience.
