Job description
Our client based in Dukinfield are looking to recruit an Assembly Technician to start ASAP on a temporary to permanent basis.
Summary of Job Role:
The primary responsibility of the Assembly Technician is to work from technical productions orders, proper assembly, filling and packaging requirements of products.
Duties include:
- Understanding technical drawings, production orders, and test specifications.
- Understanding Semi-complex products involving Electrical, Mechanical with Multiple parts.
- Working from Production orders / technical specification / customer requirements to assembly various products with the use of hand and powers tools.
- Reading rulers, tape measures, metal squares and other measuring equipment.
- Fasten parts together with bots, screws, speed clips and fasteners.
- Testing applications and equipment for Leakage, flow, friction, and pressure faults.
- Perform semi-complex mathematical calculations, as well as demonstrate effective verbal, written and basic computers skills.
- Identify maintenance needed on equipment and tools.
Working Hours:
- 7.00am to 5.00pm (Monday to Thursday) and 7.00am to 3.00pm (Friday)
- Temporary to permanent for the right candidate.
Pay Rate:
- £11.00 per hour.
