Job Description
Reporting to the Sign Shop supervisor, the Assembly Assistant is responsible for creating, manufacturing, and assembling a large variety of signs in support of University and Departmental operations. Must be able to use various types of software and sign manufacturing equipment such as CorelDraw, Summa-Cut to accomplish digital printing, vinyl plotting, laser engraving, and rotary engraving in daily operations.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience working on a windows-based computer system.
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high production environment.
- Ability to stand and work for extended periods of time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CorelDraw software.
- Experience in sign manufacturing.
