Job description
Questech Recruitment are currently looking for an Vehicle Assembly Operative / Vehicle Assembler to work for a highly reputable company.
Salary £12.00 per hour, overtime paid at an enhanced rate (time and a half during week and Saturdays / double time on Sundays).
Hours of work: Monday to Friday day shift (6.00am to 2.15pm, 6.00am to 1.00pm Fridays / or 7.00am to 2.45pm Monday to Thursday, 7.00am to 1.30pm Fridays)
This role would suit someone with a background in Assembly / Joinery / Coach Builder / Auto Mechanic / Fabrication Operative / Fabricator / Bench Joiner / Mechanical Fitter / Mechanic / or anyone who is used to working with hand and power tools, that can follow diagrams and instructions with precision.
General Duties:
- Assembly of vehicles by following instructions
- Using hand tools, power tools and sealants
- Ensuring that work is carried out to a high standard
- Working within the health & safety guidelines
- Working in line with Company standards and H&S requirements
Requirements:
- Experience using hand tools
- Be mechanically minded
- Prior experience of bench assembly, or an assembly role where hand tools are used.
- Reliable and hard-working
- Eye for detail
