Job description
An Assembly Senior Supervisor is required for a high-end bespoke electrical assembly company based in Tipton. Joining a growing business with sites in both London and the Midlands. Working as the senior point of contact for the Tipton site, you will be the liaising with third-party suppliers and transport companies, managing a small team and ensuring health and safety is adhered to.
As the Assembly Senior Supervisor you will be required to;
- Directly manage a small team of 3 assemblers
- Monitor performance against targets and ensure all KPI's are met
- Identify opportunities to improve and develop processes
- Address any issues or grievances
- Completing day-to-day duties alongside the assemblers, manually assembling high-end bespoke products
- Managing staffing levels, timekeeping and absences and assist with recruitment and training
- Stock control; receipt, quality check and storage of incoming items
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and maintaining high levels of health and safety
- Key holder, responsible for the security of the building
- Occasional travel to London, likely once a quarter
Ideally for this role you will;
- Have experience assembling high quality products, preferably electrical work
- Experience managing a small team
- Any CNC experience would be beneficial
- Be confident implementing and monitoring KPI's and targets
- Excellent level of IT skills, confident with using spreadsheets
- The ability to motivate and lead a team
On offer for this Assembly Senior Supervisor role;
- A salary of 30-35k
- On-site parking
- Working hours of Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm
