We are Asian supermarket, an energetic company specialized in providing Fast Moving Consuming Goods service. We are rapidly growing and looking for an assistant shop floor manager in our new East London branch.

Role:
Candidate will have organisational and management responsibilities, reporting to the Director. Since the business operates on a 7-day week basis, candidate must be able to efficiently run a Asian supermarket dealing with all aspects of site management, including sales, stock control, health & safety, personnel and general administration.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent would be desirable, but not a must
- Multi-lingual: English and Chinese (Cantonese/ Mandarin), with abilities in reading
- Ability to work independently on own initiative with minimal supervision
Day-to-day activities will include:
- To act as first point of contact for all queries from staff, customers and suppliers
- To manage staff, review job applications and arrange interviews as required
- To organise and provide training for staff
- To update the staff on company policies, procedures and rules changes in meetings
-To oversee and assist with stock control and ordering including organising and undertaking the quarterly stock-checks and ensuring goods are always in stock
- To log customer complaints and process as necessary
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full time (6 days per week, 8 hours per day)
