Barnardo's Child and Family Support Service are on the lookout for flexible and enthusiastic people to join our team providing as and when support as; assistant project workers. This role will involve supporting children/young people & Families in the Dundee area who may have disability/additional support needs , Trauma or substance use. Types of support include :
Support during school time, evenings, weekends and school holiday periods.
The support is generally provided on a weekly basis but can include twice weekly support depending on the tailored support plan for the child/young person.
You will experience job satisfaction and play a significant part in making a difference in the lives of the children and their families, supporting them to build self-esteem and provide opportunity for them to socialise with their peers and engage in their local communities. The support provides much needed respite for carers to have time away from their caring roles.

- It is desirable that the successful candidate holds a full driving licence and has a car to allow for access to a variety of activities/groups in the Dundee area.
- Experience in working with children who may have disabilities/additional needs
The role may include supervisory responsibilities in regard to other A&W, volunteers.
