Job Title : Area Sales Manager
Responsible to: Business Development Director
Place of Work: This position is based in the North requires travelling within the UK.
Main Purpose of Job
As a solutions provider to the holiday home and park industry, Regal Leisure Homes is part of the wider Omar Group which has a yearly group turnover of approx. £100m. Regal Leisure Homes is recruiting for an Area Sales Manager for Northern England, to manage its high-quality customer base supplying both caravan holiday homes through the Regal brand and high-quality leisure lodges through the Omar brand. The candidate should ideally live centrally but is not essential. This will be a field-based role, and nights away from home will be expected. You should be highly motivated and driven self-starter able to demonstrate past success in managing a portfolio of customers in a high value product industry.
The role:
· Planning and carrying out customer visits to a regular agreed schedule to ensure full coverage of the area. Servicing all aspects of customer relationship including sales, promotions, and providing exceptional customer service to all customers
Collecting and reporting market intelligence information and adhering and contributing to the company’s management information and sales database systems including submission of weekly call reports.
· Assist with planning and preparation for, and attend, company shows and trade and industry exhibitions and events.
· Deliver sales growth via effective management of existing accounts and acquisition of new accounts, meeting or exceeding target sales for the business
· Developing and implementing sales initiatives and strategies to the key demographics
· Liaise with internal departments to ensure effective and efficient customer service and account management
· Build an understanding of our products, and key technical data – become “expert” on our products as well build an understanding of the competitors.
· Attend sales meetings at the company’s Head Office
· You will be required to work additional hours therefore need to be flexible to meet the needs of the business and customers
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
· Proven sales experience in a customer-driven environment with at least 5 years previous sales experience in a similar role
· Experience actively using a CRM system
· Good interpersonal and communication skills
· Excellent time management skills
· Effective decision making and problem solving skills with an ability to be flexible and adaptable to a face pace environment
· Enthusiastic, strong team player who is self-motivated and able to work under own initiative
· Take personal responsibility for the quality of service you deliver and demonstrate high standards of personal conduct
· Good Microsoft office skills including Excel.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
