What are we looking for?

Minimum 5 years of management experience in a quick service restaurant environment (required)
- Personal Licence is current and valid.
- Willingness to travel - Sites in London/South East, Midlands and South West/Wales.
- Location based in Southern England would be a distinct advantage
- Ability to follow and enforce company specifications and standards
- Good organisational skills
- Enthusiastic individual who is able to motivate others
- Strong team leader
- Driven individual who always wants to push boundaries and hit targets
- Someone who can train and elevate the level of other staff members at all times

For the role of Area Manager at Fat Hippo, you must be familiar with managing and working in a fast paced restaurant environment whilst maintaining high standards. Working closely with our Operations Manager and Site Managers, you will be provided with full training in all our systems and procedures to provide you with the best opportunities for success.
You are responsible at all times for overseeing the smooth, professional daily operations of all sites within your area. This includes overseeing security, cash handling, cleanliness, quality of food, quality of service, pace of service, control of wages, proficient record keeping, control of ordering and expenditure, payroll, new starter practices, communication of maintenance issues, scheduling staff, supervision of staff, authorising holidays, training and monitoring staff, disciplinary action and recruitment.
You will be obligated to fulfil daily duties and tasks, ensuring the restaurant teams are fully briefed and prepared.
