Are you looking for new exciting challenge working with a team to improve and maintain the highways within Gloucestershire as well as dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service?
County Council is looking to recruit Area Highways Manager, based in the West of our county, at our Cannop Depot in the Forest of Dean. This post will be responsible for delivering outcome based targets within Highways. Dealing with the challenges of our network and demanding customers. Excellent political awareness is critical in managing our service as well as managing our budgets. Team management is an important part of the role and working collaboratively with our Contractors and our many Stakeholders.
We are looking for a self-motivate team player to join our collaborative Highways Team. Candidates should hold a HNC or Degree in Engineering and ideally have IOSH Accreditation. As well as relevant experience in highways, winter maintenance, health and safety, emergency management and be committed to excellent customer service.
