Job Title: Area Sales Manager
Department: Sales, East Anglia Based
Full Time: 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
with a 30-minute break for lunch (unpaid)
Main Duties:
The key responsibilities of the role will be to generate turnover from the
sale of ‘Continental Eyewear Products’ from existing and non-accounts.
This will be done via direct sales carried out by visiting customers, via
telephone and by attendance at exhibitions and seminars.
· Regularly review existing customer base.
· Regularly review all non-accounts on your territory.
· Formulate plans/actions to maximise turnover from both A and B.
· Attend sales meetings and contribute to all topics discussed.
· Maintain awareness of competitors and their products.
Person Specification:
· Minimum of 1- 2 years’ Sales experience.
· Optical experience desirable but not essential.
· A driven, motivated individual with a willingness to learn about the industry / environment.
· The ability to be resilient and overcome setbacks in a positive manner.
· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
· The ability to identify new business opportunities within the East Anglia region.
