We are looking for an inspirational leader to join our team in Kent, South London and East Sussex Area as Area Environment Manager leading several of our Water, Land & Biodiversity teams.

As an integral part of our Area Leadership Team, you will bring collaborative, visible, strategic and cohesive leadership to over 500 people. Your part in this team will be absolutely critical to our success. You will bring a passion to the role and in return be supported by the great people in our area.
Responding to incidents is a central part of what we do. You will be required to have an incident role and make yourself available to respond to incidents or provide business continuity support during an incident. This may attract an additional payment and full training and alternative working arrangements will be available to support you with your incident role.
The team
As one of three Environment Managers in our area, you will lead a number of teams responsible for Environment Management. The exact portfolio will be reviewed upon appointment to best utilise your skills and experience alongside your two colleagues
As part of our Area Leadership Team, you will provide forward thinking and strategic direction and work with others across the wider business to influence and shape wider organisation design, systems and ways of working.
Experience/skills required

- Environment Management experience would be very valuable
A full UK Driving Licence will be required as travel between offices and venues will be part of this role and not all areas are accessible via public transport.
