There are currently twopositions available based in Bristol. Due to the nature of our work, candidates willbe required to travel and stay away from home.
Duties of therole include, but are not limited to:
Undertake siteelectrical installations including lighting and power, cable tray/ladder, cableinstallation and switchgear installation
Carrying outInspections and testing to both new and existing installations
Being able totake the role as lead electrician on projects, reporting to the Site Managerand Project Manager
Aiding the highvoltage teams on larger site installations
Mentoring andcoaching less experienced staff and apprentices in developing their knowledgeand skills
Carrying outwork in a safe manner, always adhering to health and safety procedures
Taking personalownership and responsibility of any company property entrusted to you
Projecting aprofessional image to clients and colleagues
Contributing tothe future success of Powersystems and its clients
Heres what you need to be successful in the role:
Must hold a JIB approved ECS card- Time served approved electrician having served recognisedapprenticeship to 18th Edition
- Inspection testing (2391 or equivalent)
- Experience of working within the electrical power sectordesirable
- Experience of working on construction sites
- Experience working on commercial and industrial installations
- Ability to work proactively on own or as part of a team
- Must hold a fullUK driving licence
In return we offer:
Highlycompetitive salary depending on experience and qualifications. Typical earningsof circa £60,000 plus p/a.- Potential of Upto £3,547.52 extra earnings for staying away from home (based on 46 weeksstaying away).
- Potential of Upto £3,680.00 extra tax free subsistence for staying away from home (based on 46weeks staying away).
