An opportunity to join our Law Practice as an Apprentice
An excellent opportunity to start a career, complete an apprenticeship and progress within a busy Solicitors. General duties include making and receiving telephone calls, preparing precise attendance notes, and filing, etc.
Future Prospects
- The successful candidate with have the opportunity to either continue as the firm Business Administrator or where suitable to continue to do a Solicitor Apprenticeship.
- The full time business administrator role will provide an annual salary of £25,000 - £30,000 per annum.

The Law Practice
- We are a reputable and client-focused law firm specialising in Wills, Estate Administration, tax , contentious probate and Court of Protection work. Our mission is to deliver exceptional legal services that delight every client.
Your role within the Practice
- Small open plan office within a shared office building. Beautiful reception with meeting rooms, outstanding breakout/lunch/informal meeting room with free snacks and drink to employees.
- Kitchen on every floor of building.
- The apprentice will be sat with the other office based employees and at least 1 day a week all employees will be in the building.
The role will include but is not limited to:
- Provide administrative support to solicitors specialising in Wills, Estate Administration, and Court of Protection work.
- Assist in managing client appointments, maintaining calendars, and scheduling meetings.
- Prepare and manage legal documents, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
- Handle client inquiries and maintain regular communication to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Collaborate with solicitors, paralegals, and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and client satisfaction.
- Organise and maintain client files and records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Assist in billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to clients.
Desired skills
- 4-9 grades English and maths GCSE's
- Confident with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and manage reception in conjunction with other administration duties
- Good attention to detail
- Good working knowledge of ICT packages including Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to demonstrate or gain a clear understanding of the firm’s in-house systems where training will be given
- Excellent presentation, organisation and timekeeping skills
- Awareness of confidentiality and safeguarding
- The ability to use own initiative, be able to work individually as well as part of a team
- Must be well-presented with a clear, pleasant telephone manner
- Good organisational skills
- Good client care skills

You will complete the Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship Standard.
- This Apprenticeship will involve off the job training.
- You will also develop your knowledge, skills and behaviours.
- You need to have an employer to support your Apprenticeship and be employed in a relevant job role.
- The typical length of this Apprenticeship course is 18 months.
- This course has multiple start dates throughout the year
