The Role:

Clancy are looking to recruit a permanent Back Up Driver on our Southern Water contract to assist site teams with the safe operation of vehicle and plant machinery.

You will be responsible for undertaking a range of maintenance activities supporting our operational repair & maintenance crews carrying out work for Southern Water.

Here are just some of the activities you’ll be involved in:

• Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring sites are safe prior to start and following completion of work
• Minimise disruption to residents
• Taking SLG to site
• Collecting SLG
• Communication with other back up drivers
• Helping back fill and clear sites
• Setting up sites

What do you need?

The role requires an extensive amount of physical activity so demonstrable ability to perform in this aspect is essential.

If you have a full driving license, NRSWA qualifications units 1 and 2 (SLG), abrasive wheels, good organisational skills and enjoy working in physically challenging environment, we would love to hear from you.

If you have previous experience – even better!
