Job description
We are looking for an administration assistant to join Apprenticeship Management team here at Northumbria House, Cobalt Park. The administration assistant will assist in day to day duties, including transcribing, typing, and filing etc.
The post holder will assist in the provision of a high quality administrative support service. Ensuring that effective communication procedures and distribution of information is provided on an individual, team, directorate or trust wide basis. To work under the direction of an appropriate supervisor within the Apprenticeship Management Team.
Ability to liaise effectively with staff from all disciplines Trust wide, working effectively as a team member.
We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. We also care for people in their homes and provide services from facilities in local communities such as health centres. To assist in the general day to day duties supporting the Apprenticeship Management Team including transcribing, typing, filing, retrieval and storage of records, handling post and dealing with email and telephone enquiries.
To provide administrative support in the updating and maintaining of databases and information systems; ensuring accurate and efficient management of data to meet demand.
To provide a general and effective comprehensive administrative support service to teams within the directorate of Human Resources and Organisational Development.
To be responsible for updating and maintaining databases and information systems, ensuring accurate and effective management of data is available to respond to queries and to produce reports.
