JOB SUMMARY
To assist and support the Group Financial Controller in treasury related tasks, including daily bank reconciliations and posting cash receipts.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Daily bank reconciliations and posting cash receipts.
- Responsible for preparing the daily cash book.
- Setting up new sales ledger accounts
- Supporting the Group Financial Controller with weekly cash flow forecast preparation prior to submission to the bank
- Administration of the bank accounts
- Revaluation of the currency bank accounts
- Support in the implementation of Treasury KPIs allowing to understand the cash generation, the liquidity, the headroom in the loan covenants, and levers to influence the ultimate Net debt / cash.
- Assisting with month end journals
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for bank accounts
- Ad hoc administrative and reporting tasks for Group Financial Controller
- Active member of the finance team
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Strong accounting skills
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage expectations from multiple stakeholders
- Data pulling from different sources
- Adaptable and flexible
- Ability to organise, prioritise and plan their own workload.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong Microsoft Powerpoint skills
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Hard working personality, dynamic and agile attitude
- Educated to A-Level
