The role:

Working within the Technical team, this role will assist with all technical aspects of specific development sites. Supporting the team to coordinate efficiently and accurately evaluating key information to ensure timely and accurately delivery of development sites.

You would complete a formal qualification to provide you with the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to progress your career.

· Assist in the procurement of working drawings and detailed design information ensuring that with the help of the Technical Team, that these conform to the site planning permission, building regulations, NHBC standards, warranty and other statutory requirements

· Learn to check designs to ensure they are technically correct and consistent throughout the drawing packs with the correct auditing procedure

· Collating information and assisting the Technical Team with stage handovers

· Understanding the requirement for departmental handovers and having a good understanding of the differences between them

· Submitting applications for development sites, such as NHBC SNIN forms, robust detail applications, postal addresses and requesting SAP/EPC calculations

· Updating trackers for services, planning conditions and assisting with the discharge of planning and NHBC conditions

· Assist with the application of new services, gain understanding of the sign off procedures involved to make a successful appointment

· Assisting with the resolution of daily queries within the delivery team

· Assisting team members to achieve the key dates and deadlines

· Developing relationships with our external technical consultants, contractors and suppliers and gain understanding of their specific roles

* Co-ordination of Drawing & Register and Information issue via Viewpoint drawing management tool

* Attending and actively contributing to the delivery and client team meetings

What we expect from you

· An interest in working in the Construction Industry

· Achieved or working towards completion of A-Levels

· Desire and commitment to complete a formal qualification to gain the skills and knowledge required to succeed in the role

· A positive can do attitude and a commitment to learn about the Technical department and the responsibilites in the team
