Apprentice Revit and BIM Technician
Here at Willmott Dixon, we want our people to feel challenge, stimulated and enjoy their work! We currently have an exciting opportunity for a self- motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Revit and BIM Technician.
Construction is changing and we are at the forefront of that change. Pioneering new ways to build, innovating the way construction is viewed. We believe it is important to show our potential customers the result before a building is built and this role will be instrumental in bringing our final designs to life by producing 3D models to help to support us secure future work.
This role will be computer based and we are looking for people who have strong IT skills and are enthusiastic about the built environment! You will be trained and developed by our in-house BIM team and will create models in 2D & 3D models using AutoCAD and Revit software.
Key responsibilities:
- Assisting in the production of 3D drawings using Revit
- Amending 3D services models
- Creating and amending drawing sheets
- Producing 2D drawings using AutoCAD
- Amending/revising existing 2D drawings
Ideal candidate:
- We want an enthusiastic computer literate individual; it might even help if you like to game
- You will be a school or college leaver
- You’ll be self-motivated and able to meet strict deadlines
Don’t worry about training we will give you the skills and knowledge you need to successes in your role. We will also support you further education if required and potentially even support you along the path of a degree if you don’t have one already!
You will work in a hybrid way from our one of our offices, Bristol, Cardiff or Exeter and from home.
