Due to the continued success and expansion of the business we are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, dynamic Apprentice Plumber to join our team.

The candidate will be provided with access to fully trained and committed members of the delivery team while undertaking various reactive and remedial maintenance tasks and occasional new installation work, in order to achieve a high level of service delivery. They will work as part of the Engineering team and should demonstrate a desire to develop a sound knowledge of all services within their chosen apprenticeship and become part of the larger GRAHAM team in the area.

Location: Swansea
Hours: Monday to Friday
Contract Type: Permanent/ Full-Time, including college attendance


The Apprentice Plumber will:

  • Provide an effective and efficient service to customers with regards to mechanical and plumbing maintenance repairs, minor alterations and project work as part of the larger delivery team working alongside the qualified tradesman.
  • Learn in-depth working knowledge of building regulations with regards to heating and plumbing installations
  • Undertake plumbing and heating maintenance throughout our client’s sites
  • Provide exceptional maintenance services to our high profile Clients and go the extra mile to deliver to the highest quality standards in all areas of your performance.
  • Use your own initiative to solve complicated technical problems associated with reactive maintenance activities, including sourcing parts & materials and seeking manufacturer technical support.
  • Carry out all works within agreed timescales and to the highest standards, ensuring that you comply with current regulations and contract specifications.
  • Report and record procedures, including operation and maintenance logs and control measures to minimise risks.
  • Utilise PDAs or electronic devices to complete works.
  • Liaise closely with our Helpdesk to ensure efficient response to all works either working on your own or as part of a team.
  • Observe the highest levels of health and safety at all times, including carrying out point of work risk assessments for every task to ensure the best possible working practices are adhered to.
  • Deal with a variety of Clients on a daily basis. You will represent the Company and be courteous and professional in your dealings with them at all times.

About You

Essential Criteria

  • You must be enrolled with a college before an offer of apprenticeship can be made
  • GCSE or equivalent in Math and English (A-C)
