From woodlands and wetlands to fruit trees and flowers, the Gardens and Estate at The Grove is a real paradise for any lover of the outdoors.
The team who look after the Gardens are looking for an Apprentice Gardener to help them with all aspects of gardening - mowing, strimming, weeding, mulching, tidying, planting, potting, raking, digging, hedging and litter picking to name a few!
The Team who look after the Gardens are looking for an Apprentice Gardener to help them with all aspects of gardening within The Walled Gardens ‘Jemima’s Kitchen Garden’ seed production, planting, potting, Harvesting, Fruit Pruning, weeding , mulching and litter picking to name a few!
Whether it’s the beauty of the roses in the formal gardens or growing vegetables in the Walled Garden which go on to feature on the menus in our restaurants there really is variety in this role.
No previous experience is required, but please state in your application why you are interested in the role. You will be working towards a formal Apprenticeship qualification as part of the position.
A full valid driving license is desirable. It goes without saying that you will be working outdoors (in all weathers!) and you will need to be able to start early as the team begin their day at around 7:30am and cover weekend duties on a rota basis.
