The Opportunity
Our Plant department is looking to recruit an Apprentice Construction Plant Repair Technician, based at our head office site. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with an interest in mechanics to earn and learn alongside a highly skilled workforce that is committed to providing a quality service.
The Career
Plant technicians are part of a highly skilled workforce who are committed to quality. This apprenticeship programme provides the chance to work on some of the most modern and sophisticated mobile plant equipment and equipment around.
The Experience
Training will be provided in our workshops, alongside skilled technicians, and regular block release training at the Myerscough College, Preston, over the duration of the apprenticeship. On a day-to-day basis you will work alongside our qualified Construction plant repair technicians and benefit from their extensive skills, experience, and knowledge.
Apprentices will be employed on a full time permanent basis with recognised terms and conditions of employment.
The Qualification
On course completion of the apprenticeship programme, which will take approximately 18-24 months, you will have achieved a Level 2 Land-Based Service Engineer qualification, (specialising in construction Plant repair)

The Candidate
To be considered for this opportunity you will need a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grades D/3 or above including Maths and English OR a Vocational qualification Level 1, plus GCSE grade D/3 in both Maths and English, plus a ton of enthusiasm.
