Application Support Specialist

About the position
As our Application Support Specialist, you will work closely with our Business Analysts to ensure seamless operations and functionality. You will primarily focus on providing backend support and performing common configuration tasks for Microsoft Business Central, other applications, and business critical systems. The role is located at our Copenhagen office, and you will need to possess both a local working and residency permit for Denmark prior to applying.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive backend support for Microsoft Business Central and other applications, ensuring smooth operation and functionality
- Collaborate closely with the IT team and Business Analysts to understand system requirements and implement appropriate solutions
- Perform common configuration tasks in Business Central to optimize system performance and meet business needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues, working closely with end-users and stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
- Onboarding and training of our colleagues will be a key part of your role
- Assist in the development, implementation, and testing of solutions
- Collaborate with the incident response team to investigate and solve incidents

Wish list of qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in application support or a similar role
- Skillset in any of these: C/AL, SQL, Javascript, .NET, SOAP, REST, or AL is a great plus
- Understanding of Microsoft Business Central and other application support requirements
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in performing common configuration tasks in Microsoft Business Central
- Experience with other applications and technologies is a plus
