Carer/Learning Support Assistant (LSA)

Fixed Term to 31st August 2026 or sooner if named student leaves

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Carer/LSA to join our team of staff that are committed to supporting our students with learning difficulties and disabilities and to have particular responsibility for a named student who has significant medical issues which will be provided upon request. GCSE qualification grade C or above, or equivalent, in English and Maths is desirable, and you will need to receive or have had specific medical training to be able to attend to the student’s personal and medical needs, including help with health/hygiene and welfare matter.

The pay band for the role is Scale 3 (point 5 to 6), which is £21,189 to £21,575. The actual salary for the role is £14,997.08 to £15,270.26 (under 5 years’ service) or £15,198.39 to £15,475.23 (over 5 years’ service).

The hours of work for the role will be 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday and this will be required term time, plus five non-pupil days (39 weeks).
