Job title: Application Support Analyst

Reports to: Head of Application Support and Development

Location: Remote but with the expectation you will attend homes or Head office as and when required.

Main purpose and scope of the job
The post holder will be responsible for software development across the Exemplar Healthcare Group, including but not limited to, data architecture and system integration, developing and supporting API interfaces, SQL DBA Support, maintenance and updates of systems such as Power Bi and Azure Data Factory and all data sources introduced by Exemplar Healthcare..

Key responsibilities

• Develop full-stack solutions using Python, Flask, Django, and other relevant technologies
• Design, implement, and maintain SQL databases (various SQL platforms)
• Provide SQL DBA support, including backups, maintenance, and tuning (various SQL platforms)
• Build user-friendly interfaces using web development frameworks such as Flask, Django, React or AngularJS
• Oversee data architecture and system integration
• Provide support to internally developed applications
• Oversee ad hoc data sourcing and integrations.
• Develop and maintain API integrations with third-party services and internal systems
• Develop and maintain Azure Data Factory pipelines and data flows
• Oversee any ad-hoc data sourcing and reporting in relation to analysis work
• Collaborate with other developers, analysts, and stakeholders to identify requirements and implement solutions
• Develop and maintain code documentation, unit tests, and integration tests
• Ensure that our development practices adhere to industry best practices and standards
• Support (alongside the IT team and third party support teams) the growing number of IT applications, databases and interfaces to ensure no outages
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance, data integrity, and security
